Preventive nutrition counselling is about maintaining your health and thus the influence of nutrition on your health and quality of life.
Nutrition therapy is directed at people who are ill, because ‘nutrition is therapy’.
Professional, quality-assured counselling aims to improve the course of an illness with targeted nutrition or to reduce symptoms. A professional contact person will be there to answer any questions you might have.
Please keep a diet diary in preparation for your first appointment. This daily log of everything you eat and drink provides a good overview and enables a quick assessment of your current nutritional situation.
- Instructions for keeping a food diary (PDF ca. 90 KB)
- Template food diary for diseases (PDF ca. 210 KB )
- Template food diary for weight problems / eating disorders (PDF ca. 230 KB)
If you have copies of diagnostic findings from recent examinations (e.g. laboratory results, allergy tests, gastroscopy or colonoscopy reports, etc.), please bring them with you. We can also do the initial appointment if you have not yet been examined or do not have copies.
